The department of Civil Engineering is set up in the institute, in the year 2009. Since then it is being developed very systematically, step by step under valuable guidance of Dr. P. K. Ghosh. & sincere efforts of all teaching & lab staff.

The Department is having an intake capacity of 120 students at present. The students enjoy learning through classroom teaching as well as site visits to various nearby places. We have fully developed labs with all necessary tools & equipments. The teaching faculty & Lab staff are well experienced. A dedicated computer lab with all required software is available for learning & practicing. Time to time, Student as well as faculty development programmes are organized. A combination of theory and field practice makes the department unique.
