The computer centre is ably supported with 5 fully equipped computer labs having state-of-the-art computing resources providing one-to-one access to students and a Digital Library. The centre is ably powered with latest software applications on engineering, language, architecture and information technology. The computer centre is centrally air-conditioned and is backed up by high caliber UPS to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Moreover the computer centre is upgraded from time to time to ensure that the facilities remain at par with the latest. The computer centres are geared to provide a specialist environment for the student to accomplish their assigned task. YITM has high-end computing and network resources for the academic and research programs. The students and staff have access software tools and systems to execute real-life projects. The institute strives to make learning more creative, interactive and information driven by using sophisticated computer techniques. The Centre would offer training and software development apart from being a support service for the faculty, students and staff. Well equipped computer centre with specialized labs of Database, Programming lab, Project lab, N/w lab, Computer Graphics & Multimedia and Linux lab. The huge lab has a facility where each student can have hands-on experience in practical applications that enhances the knowledge in the theory classes.
Licensed software like Microsoft Campus Agreement which includes Windows XP, MS Office, MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, MSDN. The Department is having other software like Oracle 9i, Linux 7.2, Windows NT, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise edition, Win proxy, Turbo C++, Java etc
